Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)
The System Was Never Set Up Right.
VAERS is a safety program for collecting reports about adverse events and possible side effects that happen after the injection of vaccines in the United States. It is co-managed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Healthcare providers are required by law to report to VAERS, but the system was never set up right.
In fact, The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) funded a Harvard study that found “Adverse events from drugs and vaccines are common, but underreported …fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. Low reporting rates preclude or slow the identification of ‘problem’ drugs and vaccines that endanger public health. New surveillance methods for drug and vaccine adverse effects are needed. Barriers to reporting include a lack of clinician awareness, uncertainty about when and what to report, as well as the burdens of reporting: reporting is not part of clinicians’ usual workflow, takes time, and is duplicative.” (see below)
“Collette Martin, a practicing nurse of seventeen years, spoke at a Louisiana Health & Welfare hearing earlier this month about what she has seen in the hospital system during the COVID pandemic.
Collette says she and her colleagues have witnessed “terrifying” reactions to the COVID shots, but their concerns about the vaccines are being ignored and dismissed.
Collete went on to say that vaccine-injury report databases like VAERS are so little used that most doctors and nurses don’t even know that it exists, let alone how to file a report.
“The Majority of our nurses, nurse managers, and some doctors do not even know what VAERS is. I’ve spoken to our chief medicine managers and other nurses on why we’re not reporting to VAERS, and the most common response is: “What is VAERS?””
“Over 18 thousands deaths, a million permanently disabled and the CDC admits only 1 to 10% of reactions are even being reported and we know the hospitals are not reporting anything. This is not just where I work. I have many nurse friends in other local hospitals in the South-East [of] Louisiana [who] say the same thing.”

“How many have you seen that have gotten vaccinated here that got sick, side effects?”
“A lot.”
“A lot! Have you seen it too?”
“yeah. But I'm like, who's writing the VAERS report? Nobody, because it takes over a half an hour to write damn the thing.”

VAERS Whistleblower Nurse Speaks Out On Pediatric Myocarditis Cases
“During the pandemic Deborah Conrad was a Hospitalist Physician Assistant and Advanced Practice Provider for a New York hospital where she worked. She was “very involved in leadership roles” and was well respected amongst the staff, she loved her job, she loved looking after all patients. [1]
Deborah spoke to Del Bigtree on The Highwire in September 2021 about her experience in her hospital, which provides an insight into a NY hospital during early 2021 following the COVID-19 vaccine roll out.
No one told healthcare workers about reporting adverse events following vaccination to VAERS, she didn’t even know that VAERS existed, she had to discover that for herself, and when she did she was shocked to discover vaccine providers were mandated by law to report any adverse side effect whether they thought it was related to the vaccine or not. After 17 years in the hospital system she was shocked she didn’t know this – and that many of her collegues were unaware also. This is not the first time we discover healthcare workers were unaware of VAERS.
As early as January 2021 she witnessed a noticeable up-tick in all manner of adverse health events in people who had been vaccinated, many events happened closely after patient’s were injected. She witnessed a pandemic of ill health among the vaccinated, not the unvaccinated.”

“The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) gave Harvard Medical School a $1 million dollar grant to track VAERS reporting at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare for 3 years... This project was called Electronic Support for Public Heath- Vaccine Adverse Reporting System (ESP:VAERS). ...
... Health care providers are “supposed” to report adverse events, but we have no idea of the efficiency level with which this is occurring, and more than a hunch that this reporting is grossly neglected for a variety of reasons. Furthermore, many vaccine adverse events are never reported because either the parent, patient, or doctor is completely unaware that a subsequent adverse event is in fact due to a vaccine...”

Adverse events from drugs and vaccines are common, but underreported. Although 25% of ambulatory patients experience an adverse drug event, less than 0.3% of all adverse drug events and 1-13% of serious events are reported to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Likewise, fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. Low reporting rates preclude or slow the identification of “problem” drugs and vaccines that endanger public health. New surveillance methods for drug and vaccine adverse effects are needed. Barriers to reporting include a lack of clinician awareness, uncertainty about when and what to report, as well as the burdens of reporting: reporting is not part of clinicians’ usual workflow, takes time, and is duplicative.”

The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) requires healthcare providers to report:
Big Pharma got to set up the way Big Pharma wanted. Everyone is required to report, but there is absolutely no penalty for not reporting anything ever. CDC can review the signals and declare them to be irrelevant without providing any explanation. Underreporting is rampant. But, it still provided more than 100 safety signals against the COVID-19 vaccines on or before January 30, 2021. It does not work well, but it works well enough to spot this democide.
This is outstanding as well. Thank you for sharing it.
